Battle for Akra

I am proud to finally show off the first project from CTRL ALT DONE, which I still continue to work on with a client.(And hopefully until the end of production!) I'm really happy to see this much of the work all in one place!

This year CTRL ALT DONE has been working with a client to help produce and manufacture a tabletop wargame of sorts. Here we have the bulk of what will become the Human Army for this tabletop war game. Each of these models will be printed at a 16mm scale.

Here are a few close up shots of these individual models:

The Deadly Orca

We All Love Space Tanks Right?

And Finally, What Would a War Game be Without Some Good Old Fashioned Infantry?!

CTRL ALT DONE aims to provide it's customers with quality product for 3D printing like these, and is currently open for contracts! Please email your questions, comments, and designs to corey.jessee@gmail.com for a quote and discussion about your projects.

Iniquity

The players in our campaign for DND have had a bit of a menace on them for almost the entirety of their campaign. I took the chance in my spare time to create a face for their demon, Iniquity.

DND Campaign Map

I've been playing DND quite a bit in my spare time with two groups of friends. While most of the gametime is leisure time, I often find myself painting and finding visual reference for our game. This one piece is a map I took time to paint for the groups, a world map depicting every place I have taken the time to envision within our world.

Dunwall Street - A Dishonored Tribute

Dunwall Street - A Dishonored Tribute

Some time ago I took the time to make a tribute to a game I loved playing, Dishonored. Through peer critique and some late nights, I ended the project here.

And here is the creative process. It started without a concept, and I slowly brought more detail and life into the project as best I could at the time.

Can't wait to be making the next project!!!

Village Under Fire

Some different angles of a small village under attack by a red dragon. The dragon is also in progress, and will be for quite some time.  There is a knight/crusader who will also be put into the mix, defending the town. He will be finished within the next month or two, so keep an eye out!

I spent some time plotting out the way I will show of the scene. I've chosen to do some pans and turntables in a "still-time" fashion. Here is an example of what I hope to achieve. Of course, there will be particles, and with hopes high, it should look awesome at finish!

Another angle of the exploding house, in the middleground, the podium for the Crusader.

Close up of the podium. During the shot, the podium should feel like it is being ripped away by the blast of the dragon, while the crusader defends the town, shield taking the brunt force of the dragons blast.

Full view of the entrance to the town. If all goes well, the dragon should fill the area immediately inside the entrance from the front gate. Also, a river offside will be placed, once the fluids and particles look just right. ;-)

That's about all, of course, there a ton of different angles I can use here, and plenty of touch ups which could be ironed in. ANY critique would be very helpful. As I plan on using this in my upcoming demo reel, and I want it to look it's best when I decide to present it to a possible employer.

Cybernetic Vehicular Dolphin

Another WIP from a 3d modelling class this quarter. A cybernetic dolphin vehicle. This was an idea based on an ink concept by Keith Thompson. He had designed a cybernetic baluga. I took the general idea of a bio-vehicle, and suited it to fit my own ideas.
